This convivial day should be special and indelible, filled with laughing, crying, hugging, and tearing up the dance floor. Everyone knows the ubiquitous conduct for weddings: no wearing white, treating the bride like a queen, and no announcements about your own life. Some people didn't get the memo though.

That takes us to the Reddit thread. In this thread, the original poster (OP) is a frustrated woman. Years ago, her sister proposed to her girlfriend at her wedding, despite OP demanding she doesn't. She even told her she'd be thrown out if she did it. Lo and behold, she does it. But OP has some revenge brewing…she intends to mirror her sister's actions at her wedding, and she does. But not before her mother intervenes.
