'The exec told me... to run it': Supervisor makes critical mistake with 3-story-tall concrete mixer, makes a giant mess
This supervisor is proof that you can't always trust management to make the right decisions! After making a big mess in his own factory floor, this boss made quite the fool of himself.
At this concrete plant, the projects are massive. A lot of concrete is poured on sight, which you've probably seen if you've walked past a construction project and saw the workers mixing up a batch. But some projects are so gigantic that they have to be precast in a big building first. As u/Hadak-Ura shares, their biggest pieces could be as large as 40'x30'!
With concrete slabs that big, there's little room for mistakes. The employees who are on the plant floor 40 hours per week certainly know that. But you know who doesn't? The big boss, that's who! He refused to listen to the employees who actually knew how to operate this machinery, and insisted on doing his own thing. He ended up covered in dust and very embarrassed, as you can read about below. He's sure to become a company legend in an instant… it's not the best look for a supervisor!
