“Your baby isn’t a miracle”: Insensitive 15-year-old gives the harsh truth to stepmother’s friend, her father forces her to apologize but she refuses

Welcome wondrous ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Being a new mom can be intoxicating; some women become so obsessed with their baby that they have a hard time in other aspects of their lives or relationships. It's not a given for some women that they would have an easy time getting pregnant or having an easy birth with a healthy baby. In a way, it makes sense that some women would be so attached to the idea that they're a new mom, and so grateful that their baby is happy and healthy.

For teenagers, they tend to take everything for granted. I mean, their frontal cortex isn't completely developed yet, so it kind of makes sense. You can't expect too much from them, and if they say something offensive, you may give them the benefit of the doubt.

New moms, could you see yourself doing this? Would you go around making people hold your baby and asking them if they think your baby is a miracle? It's kind of lunatic behavior if you ask me. Maybe instead of asking them, she should go around saying she thinks her baby is a miracle.

To be fair, this lady with her miracle baby is kind of asking for it. Why would you ask a teenager such an intimate question? Has she no idea that this teenage girl certainly doesn't care about her or her baby? Why would the teenager agree that her baby is a miracle?
