Creative Dragon Ball Fan Makes Epic Miniature Scenes with Mundane Household Objects

Greetings, anime fans. When I was growing up, my parents put a lot of care into picking out toys for me. They invested carefully in games and playthings that they knew I would like and would keep me entertained for hours for maximum enjoyment. So, I guess it is understandable that my mother would get a little irked when I would choose to play with random household objects and kitchen utensils instead of the expensive items specifically meant for my playtime. Sure, I did have a plastic doctor's tool set, but toilet paper made more convincing gauze and a fork was a great replacement for a fake thermometer. Indeed, a child's imagination is endless.

Japanese photographer Tanaka Tatsuya never lost this sense of whimsy and creativity with mundane objects. In his miniature photography, a Chinese spoon becomes a water slide, binder clips become colorful chairs, and in this Dragon Ball-themed series, Goku flies around on a drumstick.
