Hey there, cat lovers. Let's state a sad truth: Sometimes cats are being abandoned to live on the streets. We're not talking about street cats who were born there (which we 300% endorse giving these cats a loving home, regardless), but we're talking about cats who had already had a home - but were put on the streets, intentionally. Yes, it makes our hearts sad writing these lines, and even just thinking about this fact. But we're not here to talk about only the sad things. But we need to remember that this is a real-world thing, that really happens.

We also need to remember there are many hearty hoomans who warm our hearts with wholesome stories of adopting cats who were abandoned to the streets. Like this Redditor who shared a surprise that waited for them when they went out to the street - a true surprise box! It contained a beautiful cat mama with three teeny tiny kittens she had given birth to. The precious cat mama had to take care of her babies after being abandoned, probably after giving birth, and had to keep her kittens and herself alive - until this heartwarming hooman found them, and brought them to their home.

The online feline family didn't ignore this person's good deed and praised them for it, as we all should. Some also shared stories and pictures of their rescued fluffy feline friends, with everybody chiming in with wholesome "awww"s. We simply love a wholesome story shared with the online feline family, and we love the hearty hoomans who open their doors and arms for an extra cat. A cat is part of the family, and they all deserve to have one.

If this kitten's name isn't Melanin, it's a wasted opportunity. The rest of her could-like family needs some cloud-like names. Well, Cloud is a great name. We also think they should consider Milky, Sweet Cream, Rice, or Snowflake as names for the other white cats.

Yes, we agree with this statement. We agree with it very hard. When rescuing the kittens it's very impawrtant to rescue the mamma cat as well. She has just been through a rough delivery in the streets, and she deserves the warmth and comfort of a home and the love of a hooman as well.
