The 90s was one of the best eras. Why do you think so much trendy fashion, music, and referencing are still intertwined with the 90s? From flared pants, cut off tanks, grunge, leather pants, crimped hair, bhindi's, pink highlights, and halter tops, every 90s girl misses the fashion so much. There's something so exonerating and freeing about the 90s. The era of grunge, self-deprication, disillusionment from rising housing prices and technological booms that society wasn't prepared for. 

The 80s were great too, don't get me wrong. Who can resist mullets and guys with long hair draped all over their face? Or girls having to wear a leotard when they go out with their girlfriends? When I was in high school I was quite experimental in my fashion sense. I did, in fact, wear leotards, colored tights, big boots, and a slew of other strange clothing. That's what being a kid is all about, right?
