Parenting is not for the weak. The struggles that parents face might seem garden-variety because there are billions of parents on this earth, but that doesn't make their troubles any less important. Hearing parents say "my baby won't stop crying" or "my teenager has an attitude problem" might make it seem like every parent on earth has minor variations on the same boring problems, but if you traverse into a Parenting Facebook Group, you'll find that a lot of moms and dad lead extremely unique lives. 

I'm forever grateful that my childhood was not marked by my parents inquiring to Facebook groups full of strangers about if me eating Red Dye would cause a total personality shift to occur. Unfortunately, a lot of kids today don't have the security of their personal information not being shared to the [Insert City Here] Moms Facebook Group, and these posts epitomize the wildness that occurs there.

    6 2h 8 OK everyone I need some advice. I am a very busy working mom. I work two jobs and have four children. I do all of the cooking and cleaning as well because my husband is traditional and likes me to do it all. I can't keep up to be honest. I am struggling with the little things like the blinds and the baseboards. I don't think I can afford a cleaner to come in every other week or so but how much do you think it would cost for someone to come in and deep clean my house one time before summer

Tell him either WE will clean the house together or WE will hire help. Tell him he can stay home and you go back to work full time, since you like traditional roles.     This Pray for my little 3 year old boy morning I let him sit on the counter next to my Ankarsrum bread mixer while it was mixing a double batch of sourdough and he got his fingers caught in between the bowl and the arm.
