He thinks he can find a place down there to buy on land contract or buy a house for cheap. We also have 2 kids ages 7 and 5 years old plus 3 dogs. He also thinks it will be cheaper to live down there. I don't have a job right now. Because I have been battling stage 3c cancer. We already own a house. So I don't know why he wants to move there. traditional Ah yes, a very relationship where a woman is doing all the cooking and cleaning AND working TWO jobs.
  • 12
6 2h 8 OK everyone I need some advice. I am a very busy working mom. I work two jobs and have four children. I do all of the cooking and cleaning as well because my husband is traditional and likes me to do it all. I can't keep up to be honest. I am struggling with the little things like the blinds and the baseboards. I don't think I can afford a cleaner to come in every other week or so but how much do you think it would cost for someone to come in and deep clean my house one time before summer

21 > Traditional roles would mean you didn't work outside of the home at all. This is insanity. Some men will do anything but make sense. Some options: Divorce? Tell him either WE will clean the house together or WE will hire help. Tell him he can stay home and you go back to work full time, since you like traditional roles. I would get some quotes, multiple quotes and see how much of HIS money will be delegated for a house cleaner. I had similar, except it was opposite. I left that and never lo

21> 201 Like I'm sorry everyone is bashing your traditional home life instead of answering your question! Depending on your Location and if you're only wanting certain things/rooms instead of whole house, I'd ballpark it around $500 2h Haha $500-700 for a one time clean. I'd address the "traditional do-it-all all role" too. That could cost $25-50k depending on how serious you are when you address it. 2h Like 11 Yes, I'... Location can make a difference, but I would charge $800-$1000. A moderator

Mom still considering unassisted home birth despite unborn babie's heart issue.

Has anyone ever given birth at home, unassisted, to a baby with absent ductus venosus &/or an enlarged heart? What was the outcome?

How do you make your stepson stop calling you by your first name? I'm having a baby, and it's made me think about our family's communication dynamics and how they might evolve. My stepson currently calls me by my first name, which has been fine up until now. However, with my own child on the way, I've started thinking about the implications of him using my name, and I'd prefer it if he didn't use it anymore. To be clear, I'm not particular about being called 'Mom' or any other title by my stepso

Your child is in a lot of pain but sure, don't take him to the doctor for a few days. Bonus points for mentioning the brand name expensive mixer.

This Pray for my little 3 year old boy morning I let him sit on the counter next to my Ankarsrum bread mixer while it was mixing a double batch of sourdough and he got his fingers caught in between the bowl and the arm. It was very traumatic for him, his 5 year old sister also sitting there and of course myself. We don't know if his finger is broken; we've decided to follow the advice in a natural healthcare book we have that says wait a day or two to see how the swelling goes down before decidi

Ultrasounds are bad... I'm not sure how

Group posts ... I had my first child 4 months ago, a couple weeks before I turned 42. I chose to have a wild pregnancy after my midwife didn't respect my decision to decline. the ultrasound. My son was born en caul and at home after a gentle 5 hour freebirth. OD 60 168 comments

Author Rising contributor They have a high false positive rate inducing unnecessary concern and stress for nothing. It is high frequency sound waves that are equivalent to the sound of a helicopter landing on the baby and babies are meant to be in a quiet dark place, hence the womb. I had no intentions of aborting my baby if it was discovered to be an abnormality. Even if there was something wrong with baby they can't do anything until they are out anyways so why ruin a beautiful pregnancy with

Moms Hey y'all, just wanted to pop on here and give everyone a heads up about the new bird flu in case you haven't seen anything about it. Transmission from birds to cats and livestock to cats has been confirmed, and the primary source of the human cases are: exposure to infected flocks, exposure to infected cattle annnd (the reason why I'm posting) **raw milk**. The mortality rate for this strain is expected to be high, and is VERY high for cats. you drink raw dairy products in a locations wher
