Goths around the world, unite. There's something special about goth culture. It's not everyday that you meet a fellow goth and can talk about dried flowers, metal, coffins, and black cats. The shocking amount of people who simply don't enjoy the darkness of the underworld, the nitty and gritty crevices of spider webs and abandoned buildings is why it's so special when you meet another goth. In a way, goth culture is a celebration of authenticity. It's saying, "yes, life has a darkness, but we can find some beauty in it." It celebrates the dark and morbid, the deceased and dismal, and abysmal and abashed things in the world that lack lightness. 

But though goths may look one way on the outside, there's something inside of them that's certainly not all dark or bad. There's a cuteness behind the black eyeliner and draped, velvet clothing. They might have piercings, but they melt at the sight of a cute black cat, a pumpkin, or even a bat fluttering through the air. For them, it's essentially the equivalent of seeing a butterfly.
