  • "I am now sending daily today and previous summaries report, aka TPS Reports."

Today, my boss accused me of not being in the office for work for the last few weeks. Now mind you, I work in a sales job, I am in the office daily just not all day
  • because I do offsite meetings. I provided proof of my computer logins showing my locations and was told "proof or not, there's a perspective you are not at work"
  • So I decided I will start sending today and previous summaries, also known as TPS reports to provide what I did today and previously. I sent an email

  • advising of this plan and provided steps on how to make a Microsoft rule for it to forward to a folder. Needlessly to say, my boss responded with that TPS reports will not be required. And if he needs future clarification, he'll let me know.
  • NSMike "Your proof isn't proof" is a good indicator that they're looking for things to pin on you. I don't wanna scare you, but I'd keep my resume updated.

  • DoctorFenix Ahhh the good old "Perception" bulls For my last employer I was in a salary role where I had to put in a lot of extra time.
  • There were post-work events that I would be in the office planning for all day, and then staying as late as 11pm attending, or there were tasks I had to complete that had me onsite upwards of 14 hours in a single day.
  • Alot of times I would just text my boss and say "I was in 14 hours today. I'm coming in an hour late tomorrow" and it was never a problem.

  • Except for the hourly employees who HAD to come in at 8am and leave at 5pm. They had a perception that I would just come in late whenever I felt like it, and would b about me specifically when they were written up for coming in late.
  • One of them had the nerve to claim it was racism that I could come in late and she couldn't, not knowing I was working 50-60 hour weeks and she was only putting in 40. She got fired, and deserved it. Office perception is stupid.
  • Jgibbjr "A perception" perceived BY WHO?! sounds like someone above him is on his a, or, your coworkers are complaining about you to him.
