When you're a young adult trying to get into college, it's easy to think that you can take on student loans. You are blinded by the promise that a degree will guarantee you a great job that will help you pay off your debts in no time. While there is some truth to this, the transition from the structured college life to the real world can be fraught with strife, making monthly payments difficult to keep up with, especially at first. With interest, student loans can become a burden that one carries for decades.
In our story today, a woman watches her younger sister struggle with paying off her astounding debt. She seeks help from her boyfriend who had previously helped her pay her own loans off.
