Welcome, women of the Latchkey Generation. What tastes do you associate with the 80s and 90s, or what particular flavor defined your early youth? Many immediately think of discontinued snack items that they would never have the chance to taste again. For example, you might miss Gatorade's original lemon-lime flavor. They still sell a version of it nowadays; you can find it at any grocery or convenience store in a plastic bottle, but real OGs know that the brand originally sold their electrolyte drinks in glass. 

The 80s had the best movies, so when you think of a flavor for the decade, your mind might go to one of the many foodstuffs created to promote films of the time – think Ecto Cooler Hi-C, the famous tie-in beverage for the Ghostbusters movie. Sour Patch Kids came out with their beloved sour watermelon gummies in 1985, causing a huge burst in watermelon-flavored candies in the years to follow.
