The strange part about this story to me is the fact that the boyfriend isn't using his girlfriend's shower, he's using his girlfriend's roommate's shower. Showers and bathrooms are intimate areas. How did she allow this in the first place? If I were in her situation, I wouldn't have let him come at all to use it once. According to the story, it seems as though the girls each have their own shower. He has no business being in her room with her things, or using her shower.

“Replace door handle with a keyed lock”: Woman refuses to let roommate’s boyfriend continue to treat her bathroom like his personal spa, roommate gets upset with her and insists he keep using it
Having roommates is…interesting. We all have some sort of crazy roommate story. There's a lot of crazy people out there, and when you live with them you have to see everything. Someone can be crazy on the inside, but act like your normal day-to-day coworker when you get to work. When someone is in the comfort of their own home, things can get out of hand quickly. I know I've had my fair share of insane roommate stories, and I'm not trying to get any more. When you're young though, it's all a part of life.
With roommates it's a delicate dance of mutual respect and boundaries. If you're not friends with the person it can be quite uncomfortable to have such close quarters with them. You put your shoes in one place, and find them somewhere completely different. We're going to get under each other's skin in one way or another, it's a matter of how it's resolved.
In the story below, the protagonist has a roommate whose boyfriend is…friendly. He uses her shower instead of his own. She finds it infringing on her personal space and comfort. The weird thing about this story is that he doesn't just use his girlfriend's shower.
