'Elizabeth's a brat': 21-year-old refuses to babysit entitled 13-year-old stepsister for a week while his dad goes on his honeymoon, sparking family drama

This dude's stepsister sounds like a menace. I wouldn't want her to set foot within a mile of my personal items, so I certainly do not blame this 21-year-old for not wanting to babysit his entitled 13-year-old stepsister for an entire week in the small apartment he shared with his girlfriend. 

Look, it's great that this guy's dad found love again and is getting married later in life—good for him! However, welcoming his future stepdaughter into the family is his responsibility, not his son's. On top of that, the fact that this guy's father is well aware of how much of a menace this spoiled brat is just goes to show that he isn't considering his biological kid's well-being and sanity at all. Instead, he just wants to dump all the responsibility that comes with reining in this teenager's wild impulses onto his own son. Just because the dad is signing up to have this kid in his life moving forward does not mean his son has to sign up for all the responsibilities too!

  • It's amusing to see this father try to blame his son for not being welcoming enough after the 13-year-old already caused more drama with other family members during a short period of time than most family members cause in a year. Why should this guy have to endure taking care of her for a week? He's 21! He's probably still in school! If I were asked to take care of a kid when I was 21, I would think the person asking was out of their right mind for thinking I was capable of doing so.
