'It's like she's been waiting all her life for a friend': Woman adopts a fluffy gray kitten only for said kitten to be instantly claimed by her older cat who absolutely fell in love with her

You know how we always talk about the cat distribution system? About how it's not you who adopts the cat but it's actually the cat who adopts the human? This is true. But it's not limited. The cat distribution system works in mysterious ways. Sometimes, cats adopt humans, and other times… cats can adopt other cats. 

That happens more often than you would think. You bring a kitten home, hoping that you will have a new friend to play with and cuddle with and spend time with, but before you know it, all of that kitten's time is spent hanging out with its cat sister or brother. And although on the one hand, you might be a little miffed that you didn't get all the attention that you wanted from the kitten, a much bigger part of you is so, so happy to see them getting along and loving one another. And that is pretty much what happened in today's story.
