Bridesmaid learns bride’s sister scammed the whole bachelorette party out of $3K to pay her own debt, and now the girls are plotting their revenge: 'She justified it by saying she's broke'

Being a bridesmaid is basically a part-time job that you pay for yourself, especially once you hit your late 20s and early 30s and all your friends decide this is the year they're getting married. Suddenly, you're in seven different group chats for seven different wedding parties, Venmoing for matching robes, planning bachelorette weekends in overpriced Airbnbs, and forking over cash for everything from sparkly heels you'll wear once to the inevitable group gift for the bride.

It's exhausting... and expensive. And the least you can hope for is that everyone's splitting costs fairly. But in this story, that's not the case. One bridesmaid learned the hard way that the maid of honor (aka the bride's little sister) had her own agenda. Not only did she cover the entire bachelorette weekend with her mom's credit card, but she charged each girl an inflated "final total," pocketed the difference, and used it to pay off personal debt from Coachella. Yeah. You read that right.
