Jealousy or Pity? The Golden Question…

No one is destined for the same life paths. There will always be certain elements of someone's life that you long for: that dream wardrobe, the white picket fence, the Labrador puppy named Maple…

With that being said, there will also be elements that bring pity out of you, "That poor girl, she's too busy working, doesn't have much time to travel. She's single, she must be so lonely… "

But the truth of the matter is, it's all about perspective, and everyone's differs. Some could look at her and instead of feeling pity, unlock envy. "Wow, she's so ambitious, with that successful career, and she's independent, not having to answer to any man's nonsense!"

So, stop scrolling through Instagram for 6 hours a day, whining about your life whilst wishing for someone else's. Because for all you know, they could be looking at your life and wishing for nothing more…So take what you're given and roll with it.

Always remember, even if you're utterly besotted and satisfied with how your life is playing out, that gives you no right to comment on anyone else's, because their dream life does not have to mirror yours.
