AITAH for snapping at my girlfriend because she's always late and makes us look bad?

Waiting around for late people is definitely one of my pet peeves. It's infuriating and a waste of everyone's time. I had a best friend once who was always an hour late, and it can become really embarrassing not only to wait around, but then to show up late.

28-year-old boyfriend snaps at 25-year-old girlfriend for continually showing up an hour late when they make plans: 'It's disrespectful of my time and everyone else's'
Ahh, the throes of young love. When you're young and dating, petulant coping mechanisms and behavioral patterns may speak louder than your ability to handle delicate situations with tact. In the story below, the couple has an issue about time. The narrator and boyfriend complains that his girlfriend is always late, therefore making him late. And he says it's not a few minutes, it's nearing an hour. I can really understand him. I absolutely hate waiting around for people, and it can be really stressful when you know an event has started, especially something like a dinner, and you know that you're missing out on things. It's definitely disrespectful to everyone's time and energy, especially the partner.
Push comes to shove when she makes him an hour late to a birthday dinner, and they show up when everyone is already eating. He tries to talk to her about it, but she brushes it off as a cute and quirky aspect of her personality. He doesn't agree, and he tells her so.
