Welcome, fellow 80s survivors. Remember when you could leave your house with nothing but your bike, a Walkman, a pocket full of quarters, and not have to communicate with anyone until the streelights flickered on? These were the golden years, back when a "social network" was literally just your friends down the block, and the only real drama you had to deal with was who showed up at the roller rink. Growing up in the 80s meant total freedom. No one was tracking your every move, you didn't have to worry about some random uploading your most embarassing moments for the world to see, and your creative fashion experiments in the form of massively teased hair and leg warmers were for you and your memories alone.
