One of my biggest pet peeves is people trying to hold conversations during a movie. The absolute worst is when someone starts voicing their opinions or cracking jokes right in the middle of an important line, forcing you to rewind just to catch what you missed. The only exception? Watching a movie with my bestie. She gets it. We don't talk over the film; we take every single moment as an opportunity to whisper, "That's us." A pair of old ladies walking in the background? Us. Two teacups on a table? Us. A plastic bag drifting in the wind? Us: she's the wind, I'm the bag, obviously.

So, me and my BFF can get pretty abstract with our inside jokes, but we're not the only ones pointing at pairs of objects at the thrift market or sending each other screenshots of two squirrels chasing each other and texting, "That's us."
