Pup (Leo) is 3 now and the old lady (Roxy) is 11. So glad we got a puppy for her as she's as spry now as ever. I think she may now live until she's 20... ✰ 3.6K

The lab-sonar has picked up a bbq two states over, and is ready to start banging away with active sonar to dial it in for consumers. Labs don't mess around when it comes to chicken. 51 Reply ...

Gracie, in turn, kept her big sister Princess young as well - we got Gracie when Prinny was 13 and they had 2 and a half great years together.

It's one of life's true joys to see a young dog bring out the inner puppy in an elder sibling, and to see the older sibling teach the younger pup the important life lessons of being a dog. 43 > Reply ...

imastrongwoman ⚫ 12h ago How old is the older dog? I'm wondering how my 8 year old lady would react to puppy. I'm not sure?!? She's pretty attached to me (and I rather enjoy this). Also, your dogs are absolutely gorgeous. Ŵ 27 ♡ > Reply

TheFlyFisher NW OP • 12h ago She was 8 when we got our puppy. She was young at heart anyway, but it's 3 years later and it feels like she's gotten younger! 43 ○ Reply

PackageGreedy4757 • 10h ago We got our pup right before my boy turned 12. Its really made him more youthful and I think it's improving his overall health. I definitely will be getting my seniors a pup from now on lol 16 Reply ...

12eNO 3h ago I just got my puppy who is 6mo now when my older one was 8yo and it turned him from a dog who just liked to lay around and nap most of the day to one that spends at least half his day playing. The first 2 days the older one wouldn't acknowledge the pup but after that they quickly became inseparable. 83 ♡ Reply

We've had similar experiences with our older pup having a new lease on life and energy level when we brought our last one home. We now have a 7 week old yellow lab arriving in two weeks and I'm so excited to watch how she and our 4 year old lab mix bond! Enjoy your pup-kids وه > Reply
