After losing their beloved cat of twelve years, these pawrents didn't think their hearts were ready for another. Their home felt quieter, their days a little emptier… until fate decided otherwise. One evening, as the boyfriend was leaving work, a sweet and friendly cat appeared out of nowhere and adopted him on the spot. A helpful coworker had a carrier, and just like that, Maxie was on her way to her new home.

Once home, she fit in immediately. Calm, gentle, and curious, Maxie explored her surroundings with quiet confidence, as if she already knew she belonged there. A vet visit revealed she had a microchip and a former owner who had moved away and decided not to keep her. But that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Maxie had found the family she was truly meant for.

Now, this affectionate calico with a tiny heart-shaped mark on her head is living her best, most spoiled life. After heartbreak came healing, and this time, love found them.
