Greetings, Gen X girlies. The 80s weren't all neon spandex and mall bangs… though we definitely had our fair share of both. Thanks to the Stranger Things revival and the unstoppable Y2K nostalgia wave, Gen Z has started digging through our fashion archives again. But while they're busy calling mom jeans "vintage" and pairing scrunchies with claw clips, those of us who actually lived it remember the cozier side of 80s style. 

The 80s were the absolute best time to look fashionable in the fall. I'm talking about sweater dresses worn with slouchy boots, ruffled blouses tucked into high-waisted denim, and oversized blazers that look like armor. Honestly, there were too many trends to name, so today, we'll focus on just a handful of some more overlooked fashion fads.
