Momma cat brings her itty bitty baby to the person who's been feeding her, leaving them no choice but to adopt her and her unique-footed kitten: '[The deformity] does not stop her from being a rambunctious kitten'

Be nice to one cat, and you may end up getting a two-for-one deal. 

People always talk about how aloof cats are, how uncaring, how they don't need us and only tolerate us because we give them food. These people don't get it. These people have never had a cat love them. We, as people who have and do, know what cats are really like. We know that cats love humans. They're simply picky about who they give their love to. And that, we think, is fair. You need to be kind to a cat for a cat to love you. If you think all cats are aloof, then you most likely don't treat them with the kindness that they deserve, and they don't give it back to you. Vicious cycle, really. But all you need to break it is one act of kindness. 

This person fed a stray kitty once, and she immediately started coming back. She felt the kindness right away. And then, the person kept feeding her and feeding her, showing her kindness over and over, and eventually, the kitty decided to bless the human by deciding to adopt the human. Oh, and she brought her baby too.

  • This has to be one of the most unique paws that we have seen on a kitten, ever. And we have seen a whole lot of unique kittens in our time. It's like the baby is waving hello all the time. Or maybe it's like she has a little pep in her step everywhere that she goes. Either way, if we saw this walking around our house every single day, we would forever be walking around with a smile. And that is worth every single second of taking care of this little guy and helping him adjust to his new household.

    YeliahSenyab OP Hiii the vet said the foot is perfectly healthy Just a birth defect. He told me with strays it can be a number of things. Possibly a product of mom getting a lack of nutrients during her pregnancy, resulting in a birth defect or it could be a product of being inbred. Sooo not mentioned in post but I have flips mom as well. She is also getting healthy and staying warm!! I've been watching them for a few months and knew I'd save them when it got cold.

    Flips story starts with her mom, Pepper. I Met Pepper around 8 months ago. Although a stray, she grew to trust me and came everyday for food. Around October, Pepper came for dinner with a lil baby trailing behind.

    Over the months, I started seeing the baby (now Flip) more but she never let me get close. Fast forward to early December, I look out my window and see them both sitting on my porch. I open my front door and they walked right in- and then never left.

    I never noticed until they came in, but Flip has a front paw deformity that does not stop her from being a rambunctious kitten. The vet says she was born with it, and that it's of no concern.

  • This really is how it happens, folks. You show kindness to a cat once, and you have won them over. Of course, the kitty had to be a little extra cautios before bringing her baby, but she knew… she knew that in this place, she will find kindness. She knew that in this place, she will have food and warmth and love. All it took is making a decision, and once the momma did that, the two of them felt completely comfortable walking into your home and making themselves at home. It really is that simple.
