It's impossible to go on TikTok right now and not hear one of these Freddy sounds.
Freddy is an animatronic bear from the family-friendly horror video game “Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach.” In mid-December, TikToker Sam Pai, aka user @itssampai, posted a silly voiceover of Freddy. He took it from a spooky scene where the video game character Vanessa yells at the bear, “Freddy! You're supposed to be in lockdown.” Pai created his own response as Freddy making him respond like a child who just woke up from feeling sick in the middle of the night saying, “Vanessa… I frew up.”
“Vanessa… I frew up.” (original)
Who knew that would be an instant hit on TikTok? Whatever Freddy actually says in the game is lost to TikTok viewers, because now there are over 70 different voiceovers for people to use as sounds on their own videos and they just keep getting more hilarious. Pai, along with creating some of his own, will take comments from his viewers and put that as Freddy's response.
Sometimes he's saying he's a material girl, quoting Twilight, or just simply crying. Whatever Pai has Freddy doing next, it easily becomes an instant viral trend on TikTok. When will this end? Who knows. But viewers keep commenting with the next response from Freddy and Pai keeps on providing.
