Chickens have a way of turning absolutely nothing into a full event. A shadow moves, a leaf falls, and suddenly it is chaos in the yard. Wings flapping, feet scrambling, loud commentary included. It is overdramatic, unnecessary, and somehow completely understandable once you accept that calm was never really the goal.

There is no such thing as a quiet reaction when it comes to chickens. Every thought, if there is one, is expressed at full volume. The clucks, the squawks, the sudden pauses followed by more noise. It feels like they are constantly narrating a story no one else can hear but everyone is still expected to respect.

And yet, in all that noise, there is a strange kind of confidence. Chickens commit to every reaction like it matters deeply. No hesitation, no second guessing, just pure chaotic expression. It is a reminder that maybe overreacting is not always a flaw, sometimes it is just a very enthusiastic way of existing.
