Half a year in, half a year to go, and cats are the only constant thing we can trust.

Cats are a constant source of happiness. Seeing a bunch of cute cat memes can always lift the mood of every cat lover. But, honestly? You don't really have to be a cat lover to enjoy a sweet stream of cat content on your portable device. Cats have this likability that every person can appreciate. You don't have to be a Crazy Cat Lady with a bajillion of cats to enjoy a video of a silly cat jumping on the wall to catch a fly and utterly failing. Cats are universally cute, and spread happiness wherever they are - even if it's your screen.

Cats are a constant source of calm. People who actually have cats know this truth. When you've had a long day, and all you want is to lie on your bed, but then your cat tip-pawing from the end of the room and onto your belly, closing their eyes and purring - that's better than a month-long Vipasana.
