Watch: Stray dog in Brazil limps into veterinary clinic and waits patiently for someone to help him, video goes viral resulting in his adoption

Someone give this veterinarian, Dayse Ferreira, a Nobel Peace Prize, or at least a lot of good karma. 

We all know that dogs are too wholesome for this world. They're bundles of pawsitivity, and they live their lives trying to make everyone around them happy. They don't have a bad bone in their body, which is what makes this video posted to Reddit's r/BeAmazed community so pure and pawfect.

A stray dog in Brazil limped into Dayse Ferreira's veterinary clinic with a wounded paw, wagging his tail and hoping someone would come to help him. He seemed to trust them immediately. Ferriera took one look at him and immediately took him back to treat his paw and bathe him to get rid of his flea infestation. It wasn't his illnesses that drew her attention, it was his courage to seek out their help all by himself.

The video of his plea for help went viral, and since then, adoption applications for this very good boy have jammed the office's inboxes. His days as a lonely dog are soon to be over, and all because he dared to ask for assistance.

There's a good life lesson in here: kindness, humility, and honesty are the tools to unlock compassion in strangers. Sure, not everyone will open their hearts to you, but the ones who truly see those loving qualities in you will give you the help you need. Another lesson is that it's okay to ask for help! We're taught so often to "be strong" and deal with things on our own, but we can't hold the world on our shoulders all by ourselves. Even though it may not feel like it, we thrive better in communities, to use others' strengths to balance our weaknesses, and to help when we're feeling down. 

If a dog can do it, so can you. Go out of your way to help someone in need today, and you'll be making the world a better place, no matter how small your deed is. Kindness is a gift that keeps on giving, and who couldn't use a little more kindness in their lives, right?

    Aretha Abrams watched this video and when i put my hand near my eye my finger felt wet. realized i was actually tearing up. searched about him right away and found out this is from brazil at a clinic run by a vet named dayse ferreira. the dog didn't just have a hurt paw, they actually found a small treatable tumor and fixed him up completely. he even got flooded with adoption offers right after. wanted to share this heartwarming story with you all.

    "When he came in, he put the injured paw forward, as if to say hello and to show that he was hurting," Ferreira told The Dodo. "We were surprised because he knew where to ask for help." Ferreira didn't wait to welcome the poor dog in.

    After giving the dog a quick examination, Ferreira found that his paw wasn't too seriously injured. But it was a good thing he'd visited the clinic for another reason. She'd discovered that the pup also had a small tumor and was covered in fleas. Fortunately, both were treatable.

    Word has since spread about the vet clinic's surprise new patient, and adoption offers have come pouring in for when the time is right. His days as a lonely, unloved dog are officially over. And he seems to know it. "He doesn't even look sick. He just is so excited to be around people who care about him," Ferreira said.
