"Vladdy Daddy Stop War Plz": Gen Z Is Trolling Vladimir Putin On Instagram With Thirst Comments

A TikTok was recently posted bringing attention to the thirst traps being set up be Gen Z on any Instagram profile that has to do with Vladimir Putin. Posts about hard hitting Russian news are now flooded with thirsty comments asking “Vladdy Daddy” to not go to war. It's an interesting peace-keeping technique, perhaps one could even call it a form of protest, but whatever it is, it's viral. Click on any profile that has Putin in the name and just look at the comment section. In addition to being called daddy or “Vladi,” commenters are also calling him “bestie” and all kinds of other pet names. 

The Russian president is notorious for not officially having an Instagram and has been quoted many times saying that he doesn't care for it. So are these comments actually getting to this notorious politician? Could these thirst traps help bring Russia to peace? The Internet sure hopes so.
