Retail Worker Helped Lay Down Karmageddon After Witnessing a Random Customer Get Cheated On

TikToker Doni Tosh posts often about her experience as a retail worker. In any sort of service industry job where the archaic mentality of “the customer is always right” still ringing in people's ears, frustrating situations tend to ensue. This time, however, the story had a beautiful ending with a philosophical revenge. 

Doni Tosh was working one day when a trio of young adults who seemed around her age came in. It was obvious girl 1 was dating the guy and girl 2 was just a friend. Girl 1 went to the other side of the store to look at some clothes, and that's when the guy and girl 2 started getting handsy. They walked to the complete opposite side of the store, where girl 1 couldn't see, and started making out. Tosh watched in disgust as it was all going down. 

Part 1

Girl 2 and the guy didn't realize girl 1 was walking towards them and she sees them all over each other. Instead of a huge scene blowing up, girl 1 just walks back to the other side of the story looking heartbroken and defeated. That's when Tosh couldn't take it anymore, and approached girl 1. 

She says hey, tells her she saw the whole thing, and asks her how she's doing. Girl 1 says she didn't know what to do because she didn't want to lose her best friend and boyfriend—plus, her and her boyfriend already had Valentine's plans she was looking forward to. “Girl, that is not a real best friend if she's cheating with your man; and that is not a real boyfriend if he's cheating with your best friend,” she tells girl 1. “I know exactly how you're feeling and you don't deserve to feel like that, no one does.” 

Part 2

Tosh has never met these people before in her life, but the girl was too anxious and freaking out to approach the situation so she asked if Tosh would do it for her. Though these were complete strangers to the retail worker, she said yes and walked over to the cheating girl 2 and boyfriend. 

“I just want to let you know you guys are f***ing gross for doing what you just did and you really hurt someone by doing it,” Tosh says to them. They get all flustered and try to defend themselves, but the cat was already out of the bag and karmageddon was upon them. 

The best friend starts crying, playing the victim blame game, and starts apologizing to Tosh, who is a total stranger. Tosh obviously tells her she needs to go apologize to girl 1. The guy says he doesn't know what to do, so she asked him if he loved girl 1, which he said yes. Then she asked him how he felt about girl 2, and he said “I don't know.” So now girl 2 and the guy are fighting, and Tosh is caught wrapped up complete within this tea. She tells them the only right thing to do is to apologize, even if it means none of you will ever be friends again. 

Part 3 (final)

Tosh went back to girl 1 to see how she was doing and she told her, “I think I love him more than I love myself.” This struck a deep chord with Tosh, who had gone through a traumatizing relationship with someone she loved more than herself, but he never loved her back. She grabbed the girls hands and laid down some seriously sage advice:

“Listen, in my past relationship I did everything I could to make sure that boy knew that I loved him so much,” Tosh says to the girl while both of them have tears welling up in their eyes. “Because I never got the love back from the person I so deeply wanted love from, I felt like I didn't deserve to be loved at all—babe, I don't know you, but I know how you feel and it sucks and you don't deserve to feel like that and I would absolutely hate for someone as beautiful as you and as kind as you to feel the way that I felt for so long… If you don't start loving yourself now, in a situation like this, how the hell are you supposed to love someone else the way that they're supposed to be loved?”

After that, the girl looked at Tosh, both still with tears in their eyes, and she told Tosh she was going to choose herself. Girl 1 went up to the cheating girl 2 and soon-to-be ex-boyfriend and told them she was done with both of them. Before the girl left, she turned to Tosh and smiled and said she was so happy they met at that moment and that was that.

A beautiful ending where karma showed its best side. Viewers are dying to know if Tosh stayed in touch with this girl and became BFFs after such a bonding moment, but Tosh has yet to answer.
