Gen-Z Run Company Goes Viral for the Way They Sign Off On Emails

Who invented what being “professional” is anyways? It's outdated and we're all over it. Everyone is ready to stop being fake in the name of “professionalism." Isn't it more professional to not be fake? As more Gen-Zers get into office jobs, the antiquated edict is starting to change and everyone is loving it.

One Gen-Z company called NinteyEight is currently going viral on TikTok for posting how they sign off on their work emails and it's beautiful. The company is a “Gen-Z Creative Agency” and completely embraces their generation's blunt-ness and anti-capitalism mentality. The Gen-Z are getting into more and more office jobs in companies even though to their bones, they are against everything capitalism has done to their future. So how do they approach work-life with such a mentality? With no f*cks given, that's how. They're signing off their emails with “f*ck off” o" “umm… yeah,” and not hiding behind the old “sincerely,” “kind regards." We all know Karen in accounting did not mean kind regards, let's stop being fake.

Viewers are 100% on board with this and wish they could write their professional emails this one. Some are so stoked on it they say that they're going to start signing off like this whether their company is into or not. “I’d read all of my emails if they were like this,” one person commented. Some of the examples the video shares is saying “hehe bye," “yeehaw,” or even “f*ck you, I'm out.” It's so raw, real, truthful—it's how company culture should be instead of all this fake BS between employees.

Even millennials are chiming in through the comment section of this video saying they're completely behind this new business strategy. “I loves it!!! Cant wait for Gen Z to replace all boring Boomers,” one millennial commented. “As a millennial i don’t see why we have to be so formal. I love this genz vibe 😂,” another said.

Some people are even adding some of their own email sign off ideas like, “Kthxbai, me,” ”Don't Reply," “Mic Drop," “Moist Regards,” “You're Done, Victor,” “Ok then,” and even "Please hesitate to reach out, Vlad.” All golden ideas and there are so many more throughout the comments that really are just perfect. Everyone should start getting creative with their email signatures and then the workplace might not be as much of a horrid place.

Once the Gen Z are the majority in the workplace, emails are going to be the Wild Wild West. There will be now rules when it comes to email edict. What to tell Bob in marketing to shut up? Simply sign-off your email with “Shut Up." Excited about a deal merger you just landed? Sign your email off with “bow down b*tches." I love it!

Anyways, watch the video below.
