Engrish Funny: Hand Shredded Ass Meat? I'll Pass, Thanks!
After the 2008 Olympics, the Beijing Municipal Government felt introduced a new push for proper translation of its culinary options available to English speaking foreigners. Building upon its prior "Beijing Speaks English" initiative, the Municipal Government translated the names of over 2000 Chinese dishes. Needless to say, we're quite thankful; "hand-shredded ass meat" doesn't sound nearly as appetizing as red bean rice rolls!
