Adopt, don't shop! Meet Rudolph, the amazing 8-month old pup who defied the odds and is getting a second chance at life!
This beautiful pup was scheduled to be euthanized because of overcrowding at an animal shelter in Oklahoma. Luckily, the drugs he was given didn't take.
Jacob Hommer drove 2.5 hours to the Davenport, Illinois, shelter to see Rudolph. He told WQAD-TV he helps to place dogs for veterans and thinks Rudolph would be a great candidate.
"Having a dog, it's something to wake up and fight for, and especially, a lot of these vets, they are struggling to find a reason to get up in the day," Hommer said.
The Kings Harvest Pet Rescue shelter told WQAD-TV that Rudolph has been adopted. But it's not known who adopted him.
