Viral Pro-Choice Kitty is Creating a Divide with TikTokers Just Trying to Enjoy Some Cat Content

Jolene is a pretty kitty on TikTok and an avid Dolly Parton fan. She's a diamond in a rhinestone world and that isn't easy. Recently, however, she's become viral for much more than being an epically adorable lil black kitty cat. She's taken a stand and is becoming a symbol for women's right to have body autonomy. 

“Just a lil kitty with a big message”

The BAMF cat goes to pro-choice marches with her mom and even has her own protest sign that reads “this p*ssy grabs back” with arrows pointing up at her. It's obvious this kitty will stand by her mom's side like a witch's familiar to help her gain control of her own body. It's quite a beautiful bond to see between cat and cat mom. However, many people against the 14th amendment of citizens' rights to privacy are upset that this cat is being so political on a silly little app where they just turn to for cat content.

TikTok is a beautiful place to turn to when you need to turn off and disassociate from reality. So, it's understandable for people to get upset when they're trying to take a break from the gravity of politics and existential dread of existing by death scrolling and then right when you think you're in the clear with some wholesome cat content *BAM* politics. But that doesn't seem to be the actual problem with the viewers commenting their discontentment on Jolene's page. The people commenting that they're upset to see a political kitty are saying they're upset because this kitty isn't on their side of politics.

Kitty has more human rights than mom…

"Okay… Well that's you."

Thankfully, you are not required to follow, comment, or view any one profile on TikTok. So if you have a problem with Jolene expressing her and her ma's political views, then you can simply unfollow and/or even block. Then you'll never come across this kitty and her radical views again. However, even with that option and viewers leaving upset comments, Jolene seems to be unfazed and is actually gaining more follows.
