TikTokers are in Love with the Poppi Leaving Adorable Voice Memoji Messages to His Granddaughter

There's nothing more precious than a loving grandfather. It's like the older they get, the sweeter they become. TikToker @kkorol1010 recently posted the messages she receives from her grandpa (who she calls Poppi) and they are so cute. They're not just a little old text message or picture saying they love them, it's a voice memo using a “Memoji.” If you don't know what that is, it's basically an app on your keyboard where it morphs an emoji to your face so you can make them talk. 

This grandpa sends her these voice message Memojis for things like her birthday and holidays. They are so sweet and always express how proud he is of her and how much he loves her. What is also adorable is that he acts like the Memoji is actually a separate person relaying the message for him. 

Happy Birthday

“Good afternoon, Katherine! You must've been waiting for me. Your Poppi has designated me, the spokesperson to say *sings* ‘Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy biiiiiiiiiirthday dear Katherin, haaaaappy birthday to you!’" Caio bella!"

His go-to choice of Memoji so far is a fox and somehow his voice is perfectly fitting. Poppi will chat and the Memoji will speak for him and he calls him his “spokesperson.” The Memoji is also somehow very good at capturing what faces Poppi is actually making. So whenever he pauses to think about what he's going to say next, you can see the Memoji pondering just like Poppi probably is.

“Happy New Year, my wonderful family! Well, you're not really my family, but my good, Gil [Poppi], he's your grandad and he loves you dearly. And he's so embarrassed because he's… I think he's inebriated right now and has asked me to say, ‘Happy New Year!’”

TikTokers are absolutely in love with this Poppi and how much he loves his family and the beautiful Memoji messages he sends. “Are you freaking kidding me. Poppi is King,” one viewer commented. “Is poppi on Cameo? I'd love a motivational poppi fox message,” another requested. Many other viewers are blown away at how this poppi's voice is basically the “quintessential” grandfather voice—one viewer even asked if poppi was Mel Gibson. 

The TikToker says she has more messages from poppi and viewers are begging her to share them. They're not just adorable, they're comforting and bringing smiles to viewers who miss their own poppis.
