TikToker Rebecca Scott recently shared an embarrassing story that struck a chord with many viewers. The now viral video simply shows her face with the story scrolled in front. It says that one time she was at a flea market and was trying some samples off one of the vendor's tables. She enjoyed them so much that she grabbed her friend to try some with her. When she went to grab another sample for her friend to try, the woman covered the food and said, “please stop…” It turns out that Scott was not trying samples, she was eating this person's lunch.

It was all a misunderstanding and turned out to be hilarious, but boy was Scott embarrassed. Since sharing her story, the video has gotten almost 6 million views and the comment section is flooded with equally as hilarious embarrassing stories. People grabbing the hand of someone thinking it's their family or significant other, but it turning out to be a stranger. Many of people trying on shoes at a shoe store, but then when they go to put on their own shoes again, they see some stranger is trying them on thinking their shoes were part of the inventory. It's just part of being a human to have embarrassing cringy interactions with each other. You can either cry about it and never show your face in public again, or share the story for generations to come and have a good laugh each time.

Scott admits that the event actually happened 16 years ago, she was just so embarrassed that she never forgot it. She clearly still thinks about it regularly enough to create a viral TikTok about it. So many people, however, have added their own stories to the video, and it's simply gold.

It's not just the comment section popping off. A couple of people have even stitched the video sharing their own story with more and more people doing the same every day. Humanity truly will never run out of embarrassing cringe stories and we all love it.
