TikTokers Fall in Love with 87-Year-Old Grandpa Who Just Wants to Know If You Like Tater Tots

TikToker Lexie aka @lextionary doesn't have many videos on her TikTok, but what she does have so far is so unbelievably wholesome the entire Internet has fallen in love. Is it possible to break the Internet with sweetness? Lexie posts content that has to do with her 87-year-old grandpa Bobby Ray, who goes by the very southern grandfather name, Pawpaw. Now, Pawpaw seems to be a very upbeat senior citizen and his family sure does love him. 

Most recently he went insanely viral for his hard-hitting question to his granddaughter about tater tots. The family were driving somewhere in the car and pawpaw was sitting in the back with Lexie and her partner. Lexie appears to just be trying to get a cute video of her man falling asleep in the car, but what she got was much more precious. As she's panning towards her significant other, pawpaw intervenes to ask “do you like tater tots?”

The absolute adorableness of this captured moment is stealing the hearts of every TikToker that comes across it. Whether this pawpaw reminds someone of their pawpaw or someone just really wants to know if you like tater tots—this video is simply brightening everybody's day. 

Lexie explains in a video that about 15 minutes before she accidentally captured that “vine-energy” video they were talking about food, so it wasn't completely out of nowhere for pawpaw to be asking her about tater tots. He was just a little late on the delivery, since the food conversation had been over and silence had ensued for about 15 minutes already. But that's ok, pawpaw, we're all very happy you asked about tater tots. 

Pawpaw's Reaction to Going Viral

The TikToker also shared a video of her pawpaw's reaction to finding out he has gone viral. His southern old man accent is part of how he steals every viewers' heart, and comments are flooding in saying they could watch this man talk forever and to always protect this sweet pawpaw. Though Lexie says pawpaw doesn't really know what going viral means, his reaction is still very cute. He is “tickled pink” and shines the most wholesome smile. When she says some viewers are asking if he's single, his demeanor changes and he adorably asks, “what'd you tell 'em?” 

Pawpaw Bobby Ray simply grows more adorable with every video shared and TikTokers beg for constant updates on the old man.
