Australia is a beautiful place full of wildlife and beautiful scenery and great people. Places all over Australia make it to the top of many travel-lover's bucket list. Not to mention it's where the beloved Steve Irwin is from and he spent a lot of his time showing the world how awesome Australia was in its culture and its animals.

So people are very curious about the wildlife in Australia, but the truth of the matter is, Australia has some crazy AF animals running around. From spiders bigger than your head and carnivorous birds, it's pretty scary if you think about. Have you ever met an Australian who doesn't check for spiders before sitting on the toilet? It's just second nature to them to make sure there isn't anything venomous in the porcelain thrown that's going to throw off your #2 you time.

Real Australian tourism would never tell you that side of their country though, so comedian Christian Hull took to TikTok to give an honest and hysterical tourism ad for his country.

“If we were honest in our tourism ads this is how they would look!”

The video shows him going through a beautiful garden full of succulents and the sun is shinning. However, there are spiders. Everywhere. Spiders to your left. Spiders to your right. There is no escaping them in Australia.

“There's a succulent garden!… Okay there's a lot of spiders in here," he starts the video off. “What the f*** is that? Look at that sh*t! Look at it. *shows massive spider web*  That is everywhere in here!” He says that the spiders are everywhere and they stay up high so they can drop on you, suck out all of your blood, and then throw your dead carcass away like trash.

“I f***ing hate it here… No, I love it here, it's gorgeous, I'd never live anywhere else, but it's like, can't I just enjoy the wilderness without the wildlife section of it?” As he's contemplating his environment he starts to hear screeches over him and cue the killer birds. (They're probably not really killer birds, but it IS Australia, so it is also possible…)

“If the spiders don't kill you, the birds will,” he signs off his honest ad with. "What is wrong with this country? Seriously though, where the bloody hell are you? It's so beautiful here! Come to Australia!
