Every once in a while, we still hear people repeating the myth that cats are unfriendly animals. And these people say that so casually, as if it's fact, as if it's not one of the silliest things that we have ever heard in our lives. Cats? Unfriendly? Have you met a cat? So okay, fine, cats are not necessarily friendly to everyone, but neither are we. Being picky about your friends is normal. But just because cats don't like you does not mean that they don't like everyone. 

It's just a question of whether you have been chosen by a cat or not. If you have been chosen, your cat will love you in a way that you have never realized was even pawssible. And cats' friends come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, cats befriend dogs. Other times, cats befriend birds. Sometimes, cats befriend horses. Differences be hecked, the cat will love its chosen friend. And you know, at least this cat and otter have some things in common, like the fact that they like cuddling when they nap and the fact that the probably both dream about fish at the same exact time.
