Dramatic Golden Retriever Named Maple Limps on One Leg Until She's Magically Cured When She's Let Outside to Run Around in the Rain

Meet Maple, the drama queen of golden retrievers. On TikTok she gets into all kinds of shenanigans with her kitty brother Waffles. The epically adorable duo have gone viral several times because duh, just look how cute they are!

Recently, Maple has stolen the spotlight. One day, the sweet golden baby was limping around only using one front leg. Her parents (or should I say pawrents) were worried sick. Maple limped everywhere she was walking and gave intense puppy dog eyes. She even went up to her cat brother for some sympathy. Her parents called the vet, but the doctor was unavailable that day, so he told them simply to keep an eye on it. And good thing the doctor did, because they would have ended up wasting a lot of money…

Maple limped around all day, never whined or gnawed at her paw, but simply didn't walk on it. Then suddenly, the day started to get a little rainy out, and, surprisingly enough Maple loves the rain! Also surprisingly, the rain somehow cured the pup! All of a sudden she was not only walking perfectly again, she ran right outside and started doing the most intense zoomies around the backyard in the rain.

“Maple is definitely the drama.”

“Maple was really hoping Waffles would’ve been sympathetic to her hurt paw. I’m glad Maple is okay,” one viewer commented. Another said, “The way she kept looking back at you to make sure you were seeing all of her pain and agony 😂.” Apparently, this is kind of common for some dogs. One viewer said, "our black lab did this, but he forgot which paw was "hurt" and when he switched paws, we realized he was dramatic af." It's not even confined to dogs, other pets will milk their injuries too. This person said, “my cat jumped weird once and twisted her paw, she was fine, she'd let us touch it and move it, milked it for a WEEK.”

Maple's parents responded to commenters and assured everyone that their dramatic pooch is doing just fine. “She is truly the best 🥰 And you and me both! We’re a few days out and she’s been totally fine 😂," they respond to a post in the comments. Why did Maple feel the need to fake an injury for attention? I mean… Sometimes you just need a little extra attention that day.
