Trucker Dumps Something on the Side of the Highway, Man Sees This, Pulls Over, and Finds a Terrified Dog Who Instantly Comes to Him for Help

The dog jumps into his car still whining desperately in fear and curls up in his lap—licks his face the entire ride home.

TikToker @qualekk is a full-time teacher and even has a late shift where he teaches a night class. He recently posted on his TikTok of one of his drives home from his night shift taking a direction he did not expect.

While he was driving in the pitch black night dark he noticed a truck pulled over. As he focused his eyes even more, he noticed that the truck driver was inside of his truck, but there was a creature running around outside of his truck. As the teacher got closer, he noticed there was a dog. He had a suspicion that this dog was being dumped. Low and behold, as he pulled over, the trucker instantly drove off. The dog tried to run after the truck, but he was too fast and it was so dark, that the truck quickly disappeared and the only visibility left was from the TikToker's headlights.

So when the man opened his door and started calling out to the terrified pup, she came running to him. She was whining so desperately that it is truly the most heartbreaking sound. She jumps into the TikToker's truck, curls up in his lap, and immediately starts giving him kisses—all while still whining sadly. The man didn't even think twice, he brought this baby home with him and she licked his face the entire drive.

“There are shitty people out there. I refuse to be one of them.”

Update

He took her to the vet and found out that she was a Dalmatian mix that is around the age of 1. She still needs spayed, but other than that, she's perfectly healthy. The dog is so perfectly precious with their 11-month old baby at home and slowly making friends with their older family dog. It was as if fate brought this dog to this family.

Though he post that he doesn't blame the trucker, that it his father was a trucker for many years and there could have been many reasons why he had to leave that dog behind. But he wasn't about to witness that and leave that dog there, alone by a highway in the middle of the night. Viewers are so happy with his heroic choice in rescuing this baby, that he even started an Amazon wishlist for the pup and a Venmo where people can donate to help with the costs of spaying and getting this pup settled in their home.
