Man Reenacts the Awkward Behavior of That One Remote Coworker Who Visits the Office Once in a Blue Moon

Workplace culture and managerial expectations have definitely shifted in the past few years. Some companies have completely switched up their rules while others are stubborn and believe that things need to stay the way they were for hundreds of years. When people weren't comfortable leaving their homes many industries had to switch to a remote system, and some realized that the productivity basically remained the same and gave the option to their workers to remain working from home, and many of them happily took that opportunity.

It's hard to say whether working on-site or working from home is truly better, or whether some kind of hybrid system is the sweet spot. At the end of the day, it probably changes from company to company, and even from person to person. Some companies simply let their workers choose which model best suits them because they want them to be as comfortable as possible. Well, this usually means that some workers get closer than others. It is not uncommon for people to have no idea what half of their coworkers look like these days until they turn on their camera during company meetings or finally take the sleep of stepping into the office. One man made a viral TikTok perfectly emulating that guy's energy.

Let's Watch

To all of those remote workers out there, we love you, but you might want to consider making sure you have a social outlet from time to time to avoid those awkward pauses.
