Is it possible for a dog to give themself Munchausen syndrome with one of their humans? Because Rosie the golden seems to have done just that with her mom.
Rosie is a sweet golden baby who loves her parents, but she also makes it very obviously and well known who her favorite human is. Her mom works from home and is with her all day, giving her love and cuddles and spoiling her like all dogs should be. But Rosie seems to pout all day, slumps around seeming lethargic, and will even limp on her paw when she walks—truly pulling off a very desperate character.
Mom worries all day, until dad comes home and them like *magic* Rosie is cured! The limping, the lethargy, POOF instantly disappears.

It's like dad is a wizard and has casted a spell on Rosie so whenever he is not around she is unable to function. But then once he appears she is magically refueled and filled with energy and happiness.
Or, she's just being a little dramatic and mad that dad isn't home, so she puts on this little wounded puppy act until dad comes home. It's pretty diabolical if you ask me. And poor mama has to just endure it all day with the crushing knowledge that she is number two on the list of favorite humans for her dog. What a blow to the heart.
“🙄 dramatic”
Viewers with their own dramatic pups commenting saying how they have a dog who will also act the same way until the other parent comes home. “Mine does that too, even funnier is he sometimes forgets which leg he limps on and switches halfway,” one person commented. “See. Dogs are the best actors there is 😂,” a verified dog account even said in the comments. "I guess dogs can pull the "Mom, I'm too sick for school" routine too!" another viewer pointed out.
If anything, they could start making this dog a star with acting talents like that! Who knows, maybe she could win an Oscar. Though it can be upsetting to the parents, especially the number two parent, it's still pretty cute to watch. I mean, that's one clever pup! He knows that she can get extra lovin, treats, and attention from mom if she limps around and acts all hurt. And then when dad's home, she knows she can cut the act and get straight to the zooomies!
