"He's My Cat for Now": Mom Confused As Her Little Boy Comes Running Out of the Woods Carrying a Huge Cat That Isn't There's

Kids will be kids, they grow by pushing the limits and as a parent it's your duty to make sure they experiment with their abilities safely. That's why TikToker Katie and mama to a little curious boy named Tommy had a little bit of panic in her voice as her toddler walked out of the woods towards her carrying a cat almost as big as he was.

The cat was a pretty normal sized adult with a collar, so definitely a house cat. Plus, the cat was just so calm and not bothered at all that this boy was lugging him around, so it's safe to say that this is a friendly kitty—maybe even a cat who has little humans of their own back home. But mama can still be a little nervous about her overly curious little boy handing her a strange cat. Especially since little Tommy here has a reputation of picking up random animals and claiming them as his own.

Mom asks Tommy whose cat that is, and he says he found it lost. Dad intervenes and says that he doesn't think that that cat is actually lost, that he's probably just an outdoor cat. Tommy interjects and says that the cat is his for now. Mom laughs in a way that only moms will recognize as a “here we go again” kind of chuckle.

She coos her boy into agreeing to place the cat back onto the ground to let him go, but Tommy suggest that he put him down in the water… Don't worry, mom didn't let that happen. He finally set the cat back down on the path, gave him a few uncomfortable pets, and the cat—still unfazed–saunters ahead.

“Being a boy mom is exhausting. Whose cat is that?”

Mom says in another video that she was more afraid for the cat than anyone else because her son is know to pick things up and then throw them as far as he can. She just wanted to avoid a situation like that with a cat… He also has apparently done this with several other random animals. She shares a video showing him holding up a chicken, a turtle, a snake, and him even collecting bees to have as “pets.” She obviously wants to encourage her little boys strong curiosities of the world, but it's also hard making sure everyone involved in his explorations don't get hurt, especially Tommy.
