Parents Admit Times They Really Thought, 'Damn, My Baby Is Ugly'

Having a child is a beautiful, magical miracle that many people feel very lucky to do. It also happens to be one of the most painful things a person could possibly go through, but hey, men are stronger than women right? I digress.

The point is, after all that work, and planning, and pain you'd hope that the final project is at least presentable. But then this alien creature comes sprawling out of your insides and you realize that thing is yours and it's pretty crazy. Obviously, it's beautiful, it's a baby! It's the purest thing ever, but damn they can be funny looking too. It's okay if you've had these thoughts too.

Reddit user u/koreanjudas asked people to share whether any of them ever looked at their baby and thought, "Damn she ugly though," and how did they deal with it? It seems that he wasn't the only one to have this thought because there were hundreds of responses that came in the first 10 hours.

This is hilarious. It's almost as if you have to from yourself to see your baby as the most beautiful thing in the world after all of that effort. It's your eyes deceiving you because they know you'd be pissed if you saw through them any other way. Or maybe it's just love? Might be a mix of both.
