Non-Americans Roast The Things They Truly Don't Understand About American Schools
There are so many movies and shows about American high schools. They seem extremely cheesy on the TV, but what a lot of non-Americans might not realize is how much of it is kind of accurate. Yes, we do say the pledge every day. We do have hall monitors. We also have cheerleaders and school presidents.
It already feels like I am writing the plot of a new TV show because that is just how ridiculous some of our norms seem.

I don't really know why we use these names. A lot of them are problematic because they have the word 'man' in them. Maybe we Americans just like to avoid doing math. It's the same reason we don't use military time like the rest of the world.

Yes, we definitely have cheerleaders. But as a former cheerleader, I would like to say that we're not stuck up. But... some of them definitely are. Some cheerleaders just feel superior for some reason, haven't been able to figure out why yet.
