When Twitter user @AnAngryOpussum stumbled across the perfect sale on Facebook, it was only fair that the internet got to know that such a beautiful thing exists. People couldn't place whether this was the perfect method of self-defence or the most unnecessary invention ever, driving a huge reaction.
Even better, it turned out there were a few bird owners out there who had tested them out, with predictably amazing results. Chickens may never return to their prehistoric, carnivorous glory, but thanks to technology they are now better accessorized than ever before.
