You know that incontrollable feeling that you have, whenever you walk past a dog or cat on the street, to pet them? Well, would you be surprised when we say that first- you're not the only one and second- that feeling extends to animal statues as well, not just living animals? We're not surprised. People have loved animals throughout the centuries, and we knew that, but this just proves it.
You're not the only one who pets that random dog statue on your street whenever you pass by it. Everyone does, and we do it enough that, centuries later, the parts of these animals that we pet are shiny from being "cleaned" with our hands all the times. We love animals in all shapes and forms, and we will continue loving them even after their passing.
If you, as an animal lover, wanna tell us that you would have left this good boy unpetted, we would not believe you. People like us are exactly the ones who will pause and spend a good few looong seconds petting this guy, and then we would have taken a picture of it and a picture with it. A good boy has to be memorialized and petted by all.
Honestly, this one might be even more wholesome for us. A dog being petted is almost an obvious, but seeing a cat get so much love is pawsome. This is like the cat that even people who are scared of cats can pet, and we are happy with that being the first step they take into becoming cat people.
