Man Learns of Crab-Eating Raccoon Squatting In His Attic, Takes Twitter Along For the Ride

Raccoons are pretty amazing critters. They've become the unlikely stars of dank memes and YouTube videos. Hell, they've even earned the endearing moniker of "trash panda." For animals that are known for rummaging through garbage and causing a ruckus, they're pretty damn beloved. 

Until you learn they're living in your attic. 

Twitter user @yoda learned just that after his electrician informed him that there was a raccoon living in his family's attic. And apparently he really, really likes king snow crabs. While our hero (Drew Olanoff) claims to have been calm while receiving this news, what followed was a long, detailed, and rather surprising viral thread detailing his family's efforts to humanely remove said crustacean-eater. As the tale unfolded in real-time, followers waited with bated breath for the saga to reach its conclusion. And while we don't think it was the ending they expected, most people embraced it for all the silly fun. See for yourself.
