Ridiculously Funny Animal Habits (Mostly Cats Being Weirdos)

Every single person in the world who has pets know just how friggin' weird they can be. They have the weirdest, most unique habits ever - things that you will never expect from them. You cats who have weird obsessions with bread. You have parrots with no sense of self preservation, flying into walls, trying to dive into our soup. You have dogs just being… dogs. I.e. adorable weirdos. 

Each and every animal has some weird habit. Not a single one of them is normal, and who knows that better than our pawfect ICanHasCheezburger users who have all somehow managed to adopt the strangest and cutest animals out there. Whenever our users share their stories, we laugh. Every time. So we always - always - want to share these stories with you too.

    You give them one minute alone. Just one minute. That's enough for them to cause mayhem. Even the calmest, most pawdorable, most innocent looking puppy ever will do something insane if you take your eyes off it. Maybe you didn't expect him to develop this ability. As cat people, we have already learned. Now you know better. The solution is to simply give him peanut butter always forever so he doesn't have to do this stuff. Easy.

    Food - Ross Hawes Many years ago we had a cat that trained our (then about 18 months old) son to help him steal Raspberry Lollies. He, the cat, couldn't open the pantry door but our son could. Our son couldn't reach the shelf with the lollies but the cat could. Our son would open the door, our cat would get the lollies and we would find both of them sitting on the floor eating the lollies.     Font - Rory Gibson I had one that learned how to open kitchen cupboards and if you didn't feed him when he was hungry he would go in and start chucking mugs and things out! He learned how to play fetch, followed me around constantly meowing, greeted me at the door.. he was like a catdog and a furry toddler and I had to "Briny"- proof my house. He got into everything! 6.     Font - Anita Toadie Moontoadie I have one that thank god doesn't have thumbs. She tries to open drawers and turn on taps. Opening the cupboards are easy peasy for her but we don't keep human food on the lower shelves and she doesn't like it anyway or she'd be in it. If you leave a drawer cracked she will stick her little paw in and pull out everything she can grab. She steals any little bag or parcel she can get her evil mitts on. Lol. Love her to bits.
