Cutest Kayaking Cat Tries On New Lifejacket and Goes Viral for the Memeable Face of Disgust She Gives

As responsible and loving pet parents, you want to include you pet in as many activities as possible. This isn't just a thing for dog parents—it's also important for cat parents too! It's not just crazy cat ladies getting harnesses and leashes so they can take their feline babies for walkies. It's important for animals to stay stimulated and exploring the world around them is a great way to do that. Some cats are not about that outdoor life at all, but others are excited to go on a safe walk to explore the outside world with their pawrent. 

Key is a kitty who loves to explore that out doors with her mom, Maddie Roberts aka TikToker @wheres.maddie. She loves to go kayaking in the calm waters near her, so she decided to take Key into the boat with her for a little outdoor adventure. Safety always comes first for any mother concerning their babies, so of course, Roberts got her baby a lifejacket. However, when she put the jacket onto Key, hilarity ensued.  

Key froze with disgust on how she felt about this lifejacket. Her little legs shot out stiff and her face said she was hating every second in this dang contraption. The vest was not only too big for her, but was somehow also too tight?? The huge puffiness of the lifejacket made it impossible for the kitty to move at all, and the tightness levels of the straps made it straight up like a full-body brace for the fuzzy girl. She couldn't move, but that didn't stop her from making the most expressive and disapproving facial expression a cat has ever made.

The internet loves the reaction of Key to trying on this lifejacket and give her all kinds of different inner monologues. One viewer commented that she was “excited into submission.” Another commented, “she's so excited!' the cat: 👁👄👁”

“This family makes me want to murder people.”

Roberts posted an update video of the situation. Her and Key ended up going on a short kayaking trip because it started to rain, but she had finally decided to go without the lifejacket. It just seemed more of a liability if Key couldn't move than if she could float, ya know? Apparently, she had little bit of a time trying to get Key on the boat in the first place—leaving the situation with a few scratches on her shoulder. However, as you can see in the video, Key seems to be having a blast floating around with her mom and her face went from disgust in the lifejacket to serene and happy.
